The LAMPS AGM will be held in the

Liphoom Millennium Hall

              Wednesday February 22nd at 7:30pm

 This will be followed by the final workshop when parts in the spring show will be announced.

 

At the AGM we will be electing a new Committee for 2012.

If you would like to help on committee then please let Nicole  or Dave Rowlandson know.

We welcome nominations for the positions of Chairman,  Treasurer, Secretary or member of Committee. We meet  about every two months and like to see new additions who  bring new ideas, or are keen to support current ideas.

    Well done everyone who came to the auditions in January. Kesh and I were blown away by how you reacted to our challenge. I must say, it was one of the most enjoyable auditions I have been on. Everyone, without exception was great and this has given us much food for thought. It was also great to see new faces ... and didn't you do great too. I am impressed.

For the four Wednesdays in February we will be holding Workshops in the Millennium Hall from 7.30 to 9.00 for all who want to be involved (yes that does includes adults).

 

The workshops are designed to prepare us for the challenges of Grease the Early Years, and to help with the workshops I have asked former LAMPS member Lucy Hill, who has recently received a Degree in Music Theatre at GSA Guildford to come along and help run them.

 

Of course I will also be relying on our experienced in house "directors" to assist and would welcome offers from any of the senior teenagers to help when we split into smaller groups on the night.

 

Each week will be different and the last workshop will be on 22nd February after the AGM.

 

Throughout these weeks we will be looking to see how everyone progresses and once the Workshops are finished we will announce which characters you all are in "Grease The Early Years"

                                   

         Show dates  -  We will put on two performances of the show, on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 12th May 2012 in the main hall.
